Leah Leyva is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is an actor/director and a singer/songwriter. Leah began studying dance, singing, and acting as a kid. Throughout high school and college she studied filmmaking at Digital Arts and Technology Academy and Central New Mexico Community College. Since graduating from the CNM Film Program she has worked on many local indie and student film projects and had also directed several of her own. And for the last five years Leyva has been fronting Leah Leyva and The Band with her father.
